DesignLab collaborated with the Executive Board, UIF and Green Hub Twente to provide the UT community a series of events enabling active conversations about specific themes related to sustainability.
In this FIF programme, educators design projects that enhance the innovation ecosystems at their schools and help students gain vital real-world skills and mindsets. At the UIF meet-up, the community got an intro to Responsible Futuring.

This year, we proudly launched the official page and open access toolbox on Responsible Futuring. Now everyone can get a first impression of the approach, read user stories and publications and try out tools that we continually update.

James Madison University students learned about the Responsible Futuring approach at DesignLab, as part of their study abroad tour. They represented nine disciplines, have never worked together before, and have not studied Circular Economy.

The goal of the new programme Civic and Citizen Science is to strengthen citizen participation in scientific research and to increase the role of science in regional challenges. Five submissions received funding for further development.

The CS4H conference: a unique opportunity to explore, discuss and inspire collaboration in citizen-led health science with diverse individuals. Initiated by the Working Group Citizen Science for Health of the European Citizen Science Association (ECSA).
Around 70 people from all over Europe, Canada and Brazil dove into the challenge of grounding Citizen Science in Research Institutions across Europe. A packed day with keynote speeches, parallel sessions, and networking opportunities.
