Security Updates Windows 10 workplace (UT managed)

Library, ICT Services & Archive (LISA) is constantly working to keep our digital environment safe. Even now, with everyone working at home, it is essential that workplaces are provided with the latest security updates.

Therefore LISA is asking the following from everyone:

  • Connect to the UT network at least once a week, through a VPN connection, so that security updates continue to arrive. At the bottom of your screen, you can check if the updates are running. Please check if a restart of your PC is requested.
  • Shut down your PC completely at least once a week, so that any security updates from Microsoft can be retrieved and updated.
  • In addition, check at least once a month (after the second Tuesday of the month) if the Windows updates are installed. Click here for the manual on how to do this.

If you do not work with a UT managed workplace, make sure the latest updates are installed.
