Life-Long Learning

Want to know about our course offerings?

The world around us is constantly changing. Societal and technological transformations demand continuous learning and adaptation from professionals. We are confronted with new technologies, scientific discoveries, and societal trends. This means that professionals are continuously challenged to acquire new knowledge and skills to remain relevant. As a university, we have a role in educating professionals who reach out to the UT to keep up-to-date and relevant in this fast-changing world. To make a societal impact as a fourth-generation university, we need to expand our focus from undergraduate and graduate education to lifelong learning (LLL) offerings.

What is the role of CELT?

The teachers at the UT play a key role in lifelong learning education. With a focus on LLL, knowing how to effectively provide education to professionals becomes more and more relevant.

At CELT we find it important that our teachers are prepared for this challenge and thus we want to provide them with the needed educational support. Currently we are investigating how we best can support our teachers that are facing the challenge of teaching to professionals. We keep in touch with the various parties within (and outside of) the UT, to make sure our initiatives align with the UT’s vision on LLL and the needs of our teaching staff.
