BMS Grant Writing Club

Let's get your research funded!

Do you have an idea that you think could get funded? Are you new to grant writing or want to have a different type of grant writing experience? Are you simply curious about grant writing or would you like to share your experiences with others? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then the BMS grant writing club is for you!

The Grant Writing Club offers:
  • Peer support and expert feedback on your grant applications.
  • Insightful sessions with examples of successful and less successful applications.
  • Guidance on identifying funding opportunities and developing collaborative partnerships.
  • A collegial environment to discuss ideas, share experiences, and grow as grant writers.
  • Regular meetings for small groups to work together in the longer term, to provide mutual support and encouragement, get guidance, give feedback – whatever it takes to help you all be more productive in preparing great grant applications!
  • ‘Shut Up & Write’ (SUW) Sessions where participants can work together in real-time-writing side by side, allowing you to actively develop your own proposal while also contributing to group efforts.
