UT philosophy professor Maren Behrensen has published a new article entitled "Technology and pronouns: disrupting the ‘Natural Attitude about Gender’" in the journal Ethics and Information Technology.

Abstract: I consider how video conferencing platforms have changed practices of pronoun sharing, how this development fits into recent philosophical work on conceptual and social disruption, and how it might be an effective tool to disrupt the ‘natural attitude about gender’.
