The University of Twente's Professional Learning & Development Centre (PLD) plays a crucial role in promoting Lifelong Learning (LLL) by offering professionals high-quality continuing education and training. With more than 35 years of experience, the PLD supports public and private organisations with tailor-made educational programmes, such as accredited masters, master courses, masterclasses, and in-company pathways. Key themes such as digital transformation, public management and risk management form the core, with the didactic design being flexible and modular. The PLD Centre works interdisciplinary and inter-faculty and, together with national and international partners, delivers programmes that match the current learning demand of professionals.
