On the 4th of June, the pre-departure meeting took place at the Designlab. The meeting was aimed to bring together the UT students who will be spending a semester abroad and the international students who spent their exchange semester at the UT.
In this way, UT students had the change to ask all kinds of questions to the international students about studying at a partner university abroad, during the upcoming exchange semester. For example, UT students who are going to study in Bologna, had the opportunity to discuss practical matters with students who actually study at Bologna (but are currently spending a semester at the UT). Topics included housing, culture, courses, languages issues and financial matters.
At the end of the meeting, all students received a small gift. Approximately 250 students attended the pre-departure meeting.
