Do you experience stress in your daily life? Would you like to improve your well-being and mental health and learn strategies to deal with daily stressors?
Are you at least 18 years old and possess a mobile phone with internet access?
Then, you should consider taking part in the ALERT Study!
ALERT stands for: Addressing mental health in distressed individuals through daily-life ecological momentary interventions: a micro-randomized trial.
As a participant, you will be asked to complete several brief daily questionnaires on your mobile phone over the course of 23 days. Each brief questionnaire takes about 1-2 minutes to complete. Before and after this 23-day period, we will ask you once to complete an additional more comprehensive questionnaire about your mental health. In addition to questionnaires, you will receive mental health exercises which are designed to support you in dealing with stress and to improve your mental health. All questionnaires and exercises can be completed on your mobile phone.
Participants in this study are eligible to receive monetary compensation in the form of an Amazon gift voucher valued at up to 50€ (check out "more information" below). If you are a Psychology student at the University of Twente and join via the SONA system, you receive a maximum of 5 SONA credits instead.
For any remaining questions that are not covered here, feel free to contact us. Looking forward to having you on board as a participant for the ALERT Study!
