Yasin Yalcin

Dr. Yasin Yalcin is a researcher at the Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technology at Recep Tayyip Erdogan University in Turkey. He graduated from Florida State University with a Ph.D. in Instructional Systems and Learning Technologies in 2017. He received a number of awards during his doctoral studies including Liliana Muhlman Masoner Outstanding International Student Award, Ruby Diamond Future Professor Award, and Gagné & Briggs Outstanding Doctoral Student Award. Dr. Yalcin’s research interests are instructional design competencies, motivation and self-regulation in online learning, learning analytics, and identity. Some of the courses he teaches are Instructional Design, Systems Analysis and Design, Computer Supported Collaborative Learning, and Theoretical Foundations of Educational Technology.
