Burak Şişman is an associate professor at Istanbul University-Cerrahpasa, Hasan Ali Yucel Faculty of Education. He is also a part-time professor at Bogazici University. He received his PhD from Informatics Department at Istanbul University, Institute of Science. He has two undergraduate degrees. He completed his first undergraduate degree in Mathematics and the other is in Business Administration. He conducted many projects such as Using Robots in Education of Children with Autism, Using Robots in Foreign Language Education and Robotics Education for Children. He has also worked as a researcher on several projects. He is an advisor for educational robotics for The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey.
Motivation: using robotics in education and human robot interaction in educational environment.
