Ahmad Al Hanbali was born in Lebanon in 1980. Since November 2014 he is an associate professor in Industrial Engineering and Business Information Systems at the University of Twente. He was a member of many technical program committees of international conferences. He served as a reviewer for several international journals. He is a full member of the Beta research school The Netherlands, the International Society of Inventory Research (ISIR), Production and Operations Management Society (POMS), Twente is Maintenance Excellence (TIME), and Service Logistics Forum (SLF), and Dutch Network on the Mathematics of Operations Research (LNMB).
