Master graduation project vacancy @ OVSoftware: Design of a maturity model
OVSoftware delivers Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions to its customers with the goal of making business processes more efficient. A specialized team develops standard products which are then customized and configured for the specific needs of the customers and integrated and implemented in the customers’ own application landscape. In order to increase the success of such implementations it is useful to examine the state of the application landscape beforehand. The application architecture maturity gives an indication of the necessary activities thtat must be carried out for a successful implementation.
The assignment: OVSoftware is interested in the development of a an maturity assessment instrument which can be used for determining and analyzing the de status of the application landscape at the start of each new ECM implementation project. This assessment instrument must serve the goal of choosing the most suitable approach for the implementation of the ECM-solution and should address the most common integration/implementation obstacles and problems. The consultant using this instrument should be able to precisely determine the customers maturity and link that to a certain implementation approach.

Vacature master afstudeeropdracht @ OVSoftware: Ontwerp een standaard vooronderzoek van applicatielandschap voor ECM-oplossing
OVSoftware levert Enterprise Content Management (ECM) oplossingen aan klanten om bedrijfsprocessen efficiënter te laten verlopen. Een gespecialiseerd team levert standaard softwareproducten, welke voor de klant worden geconfigureerd, geïntegreerd in de bestaande applicatie-architectuur en vervolgens worden geïmplementeerd bij de klant. Om het succes van dergelijke implementaties te verhogen is het waardevol om van te voren een indicatie te hebben van de status van het applicatielandschap. Deze status (maturiteit) geeft een indicatie van de benodigde activiteiten voor een succesvolle implementatie.
Opdracht
Ontwerp een standaard vooronderzoek (‘assessment’), welke gebruikt kan worden voor het bepalen van de status van het applicatielandschap om de beste aanpak voor implementatie van de ECM-oplossingen van te voren in te schatten.
- Bij de start van iedere nieuwe opdracht wordt door een ECM consultant een vooronderzoek gedaan bij de klant om tot een inschatting te komen van de aanpak en het resultaat.
- Formuleer een standaard vooronderzoek voor de meest gangbare probleemstellingen, welke als uitkomst een niveau aangeeft waarin de klant zich bevindt met daaraan gekoppeld een inschatting van aanpak en resultaat.
- Op basis deze uitkomst kan vervolgens samen met de klant een beslissing worden genomen over de vervolgstappen. Indien de opdracht wordt vervolgt neemt met deze voorkennis de kans op een succesvolle implementatie toe.
