With the victories in Utrecht fresh in our mind, we headed to the Brandenburg Regattastrecke for the biggest Concrete Canoe Race in Europe. More then 30 teams competed for the prices, making the competition strong.
The competition had multiple rounds in different categories. Altough we managed to end in the top 16 for all categories, we couldn't get closer then the semi-finals. Torben and Lutsen went all out in the semi-final, but went just over the limit. They lost balance and ended up in the water, which was a spectacle for the crowd. Unfortunately this meant the end of our adventure in Brandenburg.
We showed that we could compete with the best of Europe, but to be at the top there was some more training to do.
