The Prins Friso Ingenieursprijs is awarded annually by KIVI to an engineer who stands out in expertise, innovative capacity, social impact and entrepreneurship. With the award, which will be presented for the tenth time at a festive meeting on March 13, 2024, KIVI puts the engineers of the future and the engineering profession in the spotlight. The winner may call himself 'Engineer of the Year' for a year.

- Pavlina Nanou CSE’07/PhD’12, co-founder & COO at TORWASH, a spinoff of TNO.
- Christoff Heunis PhD’20, founder & CEO of Flux Robotics.
- Kim Ragaert, professor of Circular Plastics at the University of Maastricht.
On March 13, during the Day of the Engineer at The Hague University of Applied Sciences, it will be announced who has won the prize and may call themselves Engineer of the Year. The public prize will also be awarded then. Voting for this award is possible from February 13. With the presentation of the Prins Friso Ingenieursprijs the Royal Institute of Engineers (KIVI) wants to offer excellent engineers and their work a stage.

Registration Annual Conference and Presentation Prince Friso Engineer Award
Are you coming to the Day of the Engineer on March 13? The Annual Conference and the presentation of the Prins Friso Ingenieursprijs are two separate parts of this day, for which you have to register separately. You can attend both, or one of the two. Both events are open to everyone.
