Lustrum alumni days 2026
Do you remember the Batavierenrace? Our campus filled with tents, the buzzing energy of thousands of students and the runners and their crazy costumes at the finish line?
This year, we are celebrating 65 years of UT and linking the Lustrum Alumni Days to the legendary Bata-race. A unique opportunity to rediscover the campus, see old UT friends and experience the iconic Bata finish during the two-day programme on 8 and 9 May.
Put together your own schedule of stimulating talks, campus tours and lab visits. Meet old classmates over lunch, dinner or drinks. We will conclude the two days with the Bata finish in the alumni tent at the UTrack.

Meet alumni from all over the world at one of our events! Besides events organised by our worldwide alumni chapters, alumni associations and Young Alumni Network, the University of Twente offers multiple recurring events for alumni: Alumni Talks, Twente Alumni Lectures, Alumni Day and Reunions.

Alumni Talks
The Alumni Talks take place every year in the first week of October. During this annual event, three prominent alumni look back on their surprising, progressive, or eventful careers and provide a glimpse into the future of their field. An afternoon full of inspiration for every alumnus, UT student, employee, and other interested parties.
Reunions
Preceding the Dies Natalis of the University, we invite alumni back for a reunion to celebrate their special graduation anniversary with fellow alumni. Each year, we invite different groups for this reunion. Afterward, we jointly visit the Dies Natalis celebration.
