SAVE THE DATE - FAREWELL LECTURE & SYMPOSIUM - PROF.DR. THOM PALSTRA - FRIDAY, 11 OCTOBER 2024
On Friday, 11 October 2024, Thom Palstra will retire from his position as professor at the University of Twente.
The title of this farewell lecture will be: "FASCINATION FOR MATERIALS"
In the morning (10-14hrs) there will be a symposium of lifetime colleagues.
The symposium is entitled: "Progress and Current Challenges in Electronic Materials"
The speakers are: prof. B. Batlog; prof. Y Iwasa; prof. H. Takagi; dr. A. Aqeel; prof. P. van Loosdrecht; prof. M. Loi; dr. M. Kamminga; prof. B. Noheda; prof. O. Jurchescu.
The Valedictory Lecture of Thom Palstra will start at 15.00 hrs.
The symposium and the Valedictory Lecture will take place in Waaier 2.
After the lecture, a reception will be held from 16-18 hrs in the Restaurant of the Waaier.
