The Education Award is presented annually to the best teacher of the University of Twente during the Opening of the Academic Year.
With this award, both the University of Twente and the students of the Commission of Educational Affairs want to underline the importance of high-quality education and encourage lecturers to give and improve their education as well as possible. The chairman of the Central Education Prize Committee awards the prize. The Education Award consists of € 2,500 and a certificate.
