Design and Analysis of Communication SystemsWelcome to the website of the chair for Design and Analysis of Communication Systems (DACS), which belongs to both the Computer Science and the Electrical Engineering department at the University of Twente. DACS is, together with CAES and PS, responsible for the Systems Cluster within that department. The DACS chair was established in its current form in January 2003, and currently encompasses 6 tenured faculty and around 15 PhD students of multiple nationalities.
The DACS mission is to contribute to the design and implementation of dependable networked systems, as well as methods and techniques to support the design and dimensioning of such systems, such that they are dependable, in all phases of their lifecycle.
