Design and Analysis of Communication SystemsWelcome to the website of the chair for Design and Analysis of Communication Systems (DACS), which belongs to both the Computer Science and the Electrical Engineering department of the Faculty for Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Twente. The DACS group was established in January 2003 and encompasses 5 tenured faculty and around 10-15 PhD students of multiple nationalities. The DACS mission is to contribute to the design and implementation of dependable networked systems, as well as methods and techniques to support the design and dimensioning of such systems, such that they are dependable, in all phases of their lifecycle. All research of the DACS group is part of the UT-wide research institute CTIT. DACS contributes to the Bachelor programs on Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Business IT and Creative Technology, as well as to the Master programs on Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, System Security, and Telematics.
