Hi, my name is Jessica Askamp and I was born on April 11th, 1986. After my high-school period in Zwolle, I decided to study Biomedical Engineering at the University of Twente, because of my interest in both the medical and technical disciplines. I finished my bachelor’s degree studying pain processing in healthy subjects by means of evoked potentials. In the meanwhile I became more interested in the cognitive sciences. Therefore, I decided to do my master’s in Psychology at the University of Twente, in which I chose the track Cognition and graduated in August 2010.
