We would like to announce that this year, CuriousU will undergo a re-design period and the 2023 edition of the summer school will have to be unfortunately cancelled. In the innovative spirit embodied by CuriousU, it has been decided to use this year to take the needed time to take a longer iterative cycle, deeply evaluate, and build upon the exceptional work done over the last 8 years. This will allow us to innovatively and creatively bring it into a new era.
The plan for 2023 is to re-design CuriousU in collaboration with the DesignLab. During this year, work will be done to reposition the program and refresh it to align with Shaping 2030 and the UT strategic goals.
We would like to take this moment to thank each and every teacher, staff member, student assistant, organizer, stakeholder, and countless others who have put in their heart and soul to make CuriousU a shining star of UT. Without the tireless work of all of you, CuriousU would not have been able to enrich the lives of the thousands of students who have participated. In the past 8 years, we have managed to accomplish an amazing range of feats:
- Brought in more than 1500 participants from over 80 different countries
- More than 90 courses have been created and run by over 100 teachers and staff
- Top summer school, the only festival-style summer school in Europe
- Improve and further develop existing international partnerships to a new level
- Create a moment for people to meet, share, explore, learn and celebrate together
