Review of the panel discussion on 'Brilliant Failures: Grant Applications'

"It's so important to realize that what you produced is not wasted" - this week, as part of the UT Research Funding Week, we hosted a panel discussion on 'Brilliant Failures: Grant Applications' with Wiebe de Vos, Derya Demirtas and Telma C. Esteves as panelists and Clara Stegehuis as host. Some learnings:

1️⃣ Failures are part of the game: they can help you shape your research vision and define your strategy.

2️⃣ Don't do it alone, (almost) everything is better together: writing, failing, celebrating!

3️⃣ A lot of people are kind: find out who received the grant you're applying for earlier (or who failed if you know!), look in your network who can introduce you and get in touch to learn.
