On Saturday the 3rd of July the university opened its doors for the Open Huis. There was plenty to see and experience for people of all ages. Of course, PIN was also present to perform an experiment which reveals the physics of vacuum. We did this by enlarging candies and by boiling water at room temperature after which it freezes into a beautiful ice crystal. See the pictures above for an impression.
