Job Description

Optomechanical silicon nitride devices

We will develop an array of optical technologies harnessing stimulated Brillouin scattering in silicon nitride-based circuits. These include optical frequency combs and RF photonic signal processors. We will explore the combination of silicon nitride with complimentary materials including tellurium oxide and thin film lithium niobate. We are hiring for 1 phd position for this project. Multimodal acoustic sensor

We will develop acoustic-based sensor integrated circuits realized through Brillouin scattering. Various sensors including rotational (gyroscopes), spectra (spectrum analyzer), and analytes will be explored. We will pursue the integration of the sensors with microfluidics channels on chip. We are hiring for 1 phd position for this project. (Application link)

postdoc positions in 3D integrated photonic-phononic circuit

Job Description

We are looking for excellent candidates for the ERC Consolidator project TRIFFIC (Three-Dimensional Integrated Photonic-Phononic Circuit). The goal of TRIFFIC is to develop an advanced signal processor with comprehensive spectral control by realizing on-demand and programmable optomechanics. We are hiring for 1 postdoc position.
