Frieder Mugele and Dirk van den Ende both received an award from the Jacob Wallenberg Foundation and the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences for the contributions of the PCF team to materials development in the context of sustainability and the reducing of friction and wear.
The award is accompanied by a research grant of 100.000SEK each.
