The Open Days of the University of Twente (UT) are on the schedule again. Thousands of prospective students will orient themselves on Thursday, March 30 (master), Friday, March 31 and Saturday, April 1 (bachelor) on the UT campus to choose a study programme. During the Open Days, UT's newest student team will also be present for the first time: RISE.

During the Open Days, prospective students will get a glimpse of the 21 bachelor's programmes and 29 master's programmes offered by the University of Twente. For parents of prospective students, there are special sessions with tips and useful information about the exciting step in their child's life. There will also be a unique campus and housing tour that will take visitors to all the sports and cultural facilities, as well as numerous state-of-the-art labs for top research. The tour will also give prospective students an idea of what campus life is like and that almost any imaginable sport or cultural activity can be practised at UT, from painting and beach volleyball to acting and quidditch. The UT campus is 146 hectares, with approximately 200 soccer fields.

To the open days

The Open Days are the best option to explore a study programme and campus life in detail. Everything that prospective students need to know will be covered. At the information festival, for example, visitors can learn more about finding accommodation, student associations, and what else can be done in the student city of Enschede. All UT student teams will be present to tell visitors about the opportunities available in addition to their studies. During one or two programme presentations, prospective students will get an impression of their study programme of choice and the lab where they will conduct research.

New student team RISE

During the upcoming Open Days, the newest student team, Rocketry Innovations and Space Engineering (RISE), will also be present. RISE is the first student team from the VU-UT collaboration. This team of ambitious students wants to take students in the exact sciences along in the development of a sustainable future in space. A day after the Open Days, the student team will launch and officially become the eighth student team at UT. The next rocket launch will take place on 15 April.
