On 27 June 2023, TEKNOWLOGY took place at Defabrique in Utrecht.
The innovation festival TEKNOWLOGY combines science, technology, innovation and valorisation to connect and inspire. Scientists from different disciplines, innovators, entrepreneurs and policy officials can interact and exchange knowledge and ideas to inspire each other. At TEKNOWLOGY 2023 we will look to the future. What does the world look like in 50 years and what role will technology play? Technology is and will be essential in solving the societal challenges of today and in the future.
During the Open Mind pitches session, 16 researchers pitched their out-of-the-box research idea. Submitted ideas can vary in research areas and themes, but one thing they have in common is that they will be suprising, out-of-the-box and contribute to creative and sustainable solutions for global societal challenges.
Rebecca Saive, Janis Andersons, and Mathis van de Voorde were one of the winning teams, awarded with a 50.000 euro subsidy. The title of the pitch was “High efficiency solar cells enabled by string printing”
Congratulations to Rebecca and her team!
