The granted research proposal is concerned with the electrochemical growth of functional oxide nanowires and will be carried out at GSI Darmstadt in the group of Dr. Toimil-Molares. The work is a follow-up of his PhD thesis research at the University of Twente, where he received his PhD degree in January 2014 on a thesis entitled “Templated electrodeposition of functional nanostructures: nanowires, nanotubes and nanocubes.”
