Hey! My name is Wouter Koetsier, I am a third year Advanced Technology student and I am currently the Chairman and Commissioner of Educational affairs of S.A. Astatine. Before my board year I was not aware of what the faculty could do for us as students and I noticed I was not alone in this. Now with my experience as a board member I have gotten to know the faculty better and what it can mean for us.
As a Faculty Council member I hope to improve the relation between students and the faculty by being a link between the two. Two topics I find very important to work on in the coming year are well-being and transparency towards the students. We’re already working on these topics but I think there’s still room for more improvement.
