Janine Post

My name is Janine Post, and I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Bioengineering Technologies. My research combines dynamic computational modelling and OMICs data to develop digital twins, allowing development of precise therapies for diseases and tissue regeneration. In addition, I currently serve as chair of the Netherlands Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (NVBMB), where I actively engage in national and international scientific communities.

I am standing for election to the Faculty Council because I strongly believe in fostering an academic environment where high-quality research and teaching can thrive. In my view, this requires a balanced and sustainable workload, recognition of individual strengths, and clear, transparent decision-making. If elected, I will advocate for the needs and concerns of both academic staff and the supporting staff in the research groups, ensuring that all voices are heard clearly within faculty governance.

I would greatly appreciate your support and your vote.

Warm regards,
Janine Post
