Are you considering writing a grant application in 2020? And are you working in health and medical related research, and ever asked yourself what funding would be most suitable to your research? Have you wondered which funding would give your research the push that is needed? Then you are invited to attend ab interactive session with both medical and technical funding agencies, ZonMw and NWO-TTW to provide you with all information needed.
In the Netherlands, different funding agencies provide financing for health-related research, the largest agencies being ZonMw and NWO-TTW. NWO-TTW is dedicated to applied engineering sciences, but funds 40% medical research; ZonMw is dedicated to medical funding, and funds 20-30 % technical research, allowing you to make a choice for each specific research project. On this interactive information session, different program officers from ZonMw and NWO-TTW will present different funding opportunities for medical research, explaining which type of project is most suitable for each opportunity. They will also explain you their inside tips and tricks what is needed for the best grant application. So come prepared with questions and ideas, so that you can get ready to write the best grant application and get your project started. Because after all, also in research, money makes the world go ‘round.
