Michelle Heijblom of the MIRA-group Biomedical Photonic Imaging, has won the 2nd prize in the Best Paper competition of the annual conference ‘Photons plus Ultrasound: Imaging and Sensing’ during the Photonics West event in San Francisco. This is the most important conference on biomedical photoacoustics, with this year 86 oral presentations.
