Modern Imaging and Analysis Techniques for Cerebral Small Vessel Disease: Exploring Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Connections
Broadly, this line of research is focused on three aspects of body/brain link: (1) development of modern analytical methods for large-scale imaging and hemodynamic data, (2) the use of these methods to develop biomarkers of structure and hemodynamic function that reflect cardio/cerebrovascular health, and (3) the use of these biomarkers to identify avenues to understand and mitigate age-related cardio/cerebrovascular decline.
