Within the health domain, many scientific studies are performed at our University in which human subjects are asked to participate in experiments, questionnaires, etc. Especially for small scale studies and pilot experiments where generalization of results to the main population is not (yet) necessary, participants are often recruited from the student population of our university. For students, participation can be a nice opportunity to get acquainted with the practice of scientific research.
To reach this population even better a Canvas site has been created. Researchers can offer their scientific studies to be posted on this site and students can contact the researchers if they are interested in participation. In line with the UT Research Ethics Policy, studies will only be posted if an ethics committee has issued a positive review of the study.
