After a 'cum laude' for his PhD thesis defense (December 2019), Wouter A. Keijser MD PhD received yet another appreciation for his research titled “Opening Up Medicine: Physicians and Leadership in Times of Transformation”. Based at the BMS Faculty, Dr. Keijser's was recently informed that his work was chosen by the editorial team of Journal of Health Organization and Management as Highly Commended winner of the 2020 Emerald/EFMD Outstanding Doctoral Research Award in the Health care management category.
In current times of transformation, University of Twente not only strives for facilitating healthcare innovation with 'high tech', but -as the research of dr. Keijser shows- also with an emphasis on ‘human touch’!
