Diffmag magnetic sentinel lymph node biopsy during laparoscopic surgery

mini-Symposium DiffMag magnetic sentinel lymph node biopsy during laparoscopic surgery

Laparoscopic surgery is an advancing field with opportunities for treatment of various clinical conditions including cancer. With a widely recognized importance of sentinel lymph nodes in stratification of cancer treatment, there is an emerging potential of a magnetic sentinel lymph node biopsy to facilitate intraoperative detection of sentinel lymph nodes.

This symposium will address the clinical and technical requirements necessary to advance the laparoscopic research technologies using magnetic sensing to a clinical procedure: i.e. advance a novel magnetic laparoscopic detector.
