TCO

The Techno Center for Education and Research (TCO) contributes to the educational programmes and researchers at the University of Twente by developing, manufacturing, and maintaining experimental setups, prototypes, and instruments. TCO is a team with diverse technical expertise, providing technical support across a wide range of areas, including mechanics, electronics, process automation, vacuum technology, and the recovery of liquid helium.

We translate complex problems into hands on and innovative solutions, and offer service for crucial research equipment, including vacuum systems, cooling equipment, liquid helium supply, and maintenance of a variety of other high-quality devices. Our services stretch from various small tasks, which can be done by employees in the (self-) service workshops where we also have a stock of materials, up to the design and realization of complete research setups and large projects.
