The student support team of the MSc Robotics consists of:

  • the study adviser
  • the three programme mentors for the three specialisations
  • the programme coordinator

Study adviser, Erik Bong

Contact your Study adviser for any questions related to:

  • Your study / Studying
  • Private matters affecting your studies

The Study Adviser monitors study progress; advises and assists students within the field of skills concerning study (choices, progress, process and planning) and conducting assignments. The Study Adviser also helps and advices students on the pathways of their specific academic careers. Students who are hampered in their progress as a result of special (personal) circumstances (or are facing such a risk) will be guided not only by the Study Adviser but also by Student Psychologists and Student Counsellor of the department of Student Affairs Coaching & Counselling (SACC).

Contacts with the Study Adviser can be pro- and re-active: you can make appointment yourself, but can also be invited. You can make an appointment with the Study Adviser via https://eemcs.planner.utwente.nl. Such a session usually takes about half an hour. In case there is much to talk about you can also make an appointment for a longer period. For short questions you can also make use of the ‘Open Consultation Hour’: every Thursday between 12:30 and 13:30.

Programme mentors, George Vosselman, Federico Califano, Dirk Heylen

The selection of (courses within) your specialisation and/or profile is supported by the programme mentors. You can discuss your choices with the programme mentors and you have to finalize your course list with them within the first 8 weeks of your programme. Changes in courses, specialisation, or profile throughout the year are possible, but must be discussed with and approved by the programme mentor.

Programme Coordinator, Heidi Muijzer-Witteveen

For all other questions and/or remarks regarding the structure, organisation, or content of the MSc Robotics you can contact the programme coordinator.
