Illustrator Tips & Tricks Workshop
Did you know that as a UT employee you have free access to the full Adobe Suite? Many of us already use Adobe Illustrator to create figures, visualise data, and design conference posters — but let’s be honest: it is powerful, and it can also feel a bit overwhelming.
That is why we are organising an interactive Illustrator Tips & Tricks session hosted by our postdoc Jan Dobbert. Jan has been using Illustrator since his Master’s studies and will share the functions, shortcuts, and practical workflows he uses most often. This is not a “perfect expert masterclass” — it is a hands-on, low-threshold workshop where you can learn useful basics, pick up smart tricks, and exchange ideas with others.
Whether you are just getting started or already using Illustrator regularly, you are welcome to join. Bring your questions, your favourite frustrations, or even a figure you would like to improve.
