Paul Frijters - "Happiness professor"

One of our keynote speakers is Prof Paul Frijters. He is from the London School of Economics, who's earned the nickname the "Happiness Professor" for his attempts to estimate the fiscal cost of happiness. Not surprisingly, not everyone can afford it. He has derived a mathematical relation which links various milestones in life to legal tender. One of several interesting conclusions that have been drawn from his work is that marriage improves the lives of men much more than that of women.
