How do you buy your groceries? Are you using a delivery service or are you prepared to 'pick your own orders'?
Picnic challenged existing supermarket conglomerates in 2015 by introducing the Netherlands' most successful grocery delivery service. They keep their prices low compared to others by shaping their logistical processes as efficient as possible.
On Friday 27 September 2019, you'll have the chance to meet up with the brains behind this innovative concept during their usual Friday drinks and bites. Alumnus and Data Scientist Daan de Ruiter (AM '16) will tell us what it is like to work at this innovative company. And as the 'cherry on top,' we'll visit one of Picnic's hubs for a guided tour to see where and how customers' groceries are dispatched to their respective kitchens. In sum, this event is the perfect opportunity to catch up with UT-alumni, expand your network and enjoy some drinks!
