ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Jeroen works as an independent academic lecturer in Finance, Strategy and Innovation. Among his clients are Dutch and international companies to which he offers tailor made courses. A few of the companies he recently worked for are Booking.com, Boskalis, Exact Busines Software and TenCate. Between 2000 and 2013, Jeroen was responsible for the design and execution of Executive MBA and In Company programmes at TSM Business School. Between 1989 and 2000 he worked as a lecturer of Management Accounting and Financial Accounting at the University of Twente. Today he is still connected to the university.

ABOUT THE TOPIC

Jeroen will share his view on why investment budgets always seem to fail. Some reasons are shockingly obvious, others wicked. Jeroen will talk about risk-return trade-offs, toxic projects, and human limitations. He will use the insights and experiences from more than 30 Dutch and international firms he worked for.
