Rob Wijnberg (Winschoten, 11 August 1982) studied philosophy at the University of Amsterdam (UVA). In September 2010, he became the youngest chief editor of a national daily newspaper: nrc.next. After he quit in September 2012, he started the online journalistic platform De Correspondent, which has over 33.000 members by now, together with Harald Dunink and Sebastian Kersten from the creative bureay Momkai and publisher Ernst-Jan Pfauth. In 2013, Wijnberg received the title Journalist of the Year, by the Dutch Association for Journalists.
