In this session, we’re delighted to welcome Dave Cass, Head of Leadership and Instructional Design from the Maastricht School of Management, who will talk to us about worldbuilding with AI. Drawing on real teaching experiments, Dave will show how to use narrative design and generative tools to turn passive learners into active participants. From leadership dilemmas to clinical training, AI-powered storytelling can transform your classroom into an immersive world where students think, decide and care. Connie Drosinou from University College Venlo will share how she designs assignments that both embrace and move beyond generative AI: inviting students to critically evaluate AI-produced output while also creating AI-free tasks that give students the space to express their own ideas, creativity and personality.
