Among all your roles as a teacher, one of them is to create a safe and inclusive learning environment for your students. This workshop (going beyond buzzwords) is designed to empower you in creating a safe and inclusive learning environment for your students. You'll explore the inclusive interaction toolbox and explore the Universal Design for Learning model. Reflect on your teaching practices and discover actionable strategies to foster a supportive and effective learning environment. You gain practical skills to enhance communication and foster a supportive classroom atmosphere. Learn to identify and implement inclusive education elements, ensuring every student feels valued and heard.
Learning Goals and Skills
After the workshop the participant is able to:
· Explain why inclusive interaction and design is important.
· Make interaction more inclusive in terms of communication and safe learning environment.
· Identify improvements for their teaching, based on the Universal Design for Learning model
