Description
In this training you will learn how you can present yourself in front of the laptop camera and the camera in the recording studio at TU/e. The aim is to get the most out of sending the information and keep your subject interesting and engaging for students. Where can you improve your (digital) presentation skills? What are you already doing well? What works for you and can you share with your colleagues? We are going to talk about physical posture, tone of voice, focus, tension in communication and all from behind your desk, at home. We will address questions that teachers have as a result of their experiences making educational videos.
Learning Outcomes
· To determine for what purpose you make your educational video.
· To present ront of the camera at home and in the studio setting.
· Make the subject of the video interesting and engaging for students, by making a script and use visual aids (e.g. PowerPoint slides).
