Are you looking for an extra challenge, or are you interested in building your resume? Listed below are examples of extra curricular activities you could get involved in during your time at university.
TAKE EXTRA COURSES
If you are registered at a Dutch university, you have the opportunity to sign up for courses outside of your regular programme at no additional cost. If you are interested in taking extra classes within the Industrial Design Engineering programme, within another University of Twente faculty, or at annother Dutch university, contact one of the study advisors.Â
TOP PROGRAMME
Each year, Kennispark Twente gives a limited number of students the opportunity to fill a Temporary Entrepreneurship Position (Tijdelijke Ondernemers Plaatsen (TOP)). These positions are meant to help starting entrepreneurs with innovative ideas get through the first, and most challenging, year of entrepreneurship. Are you a starting entrepreneur with the goal of growing your business during and after your studies? Check out the TOP program.

ACTIVISM WITHIN THE UT
You can also be active within sport, culture, and social associations, filling positions in committees or as a member of the association’s board. For more information, check out the Student Union website.
