Welcome to the first edition of the Smart Energy Hubs Conference!

The Smart Energy Hubs conference, taking place on November 20th, 2024, at Connect-U in Enschede, is organized by Saxion University of Applied Sciences and the University of Twente, in collaboration with Oost NL and supported by the MOOI EIGEN and Energy Control Business Park projects.

As the concept of Smart Energy Hubs continues to evolve, there is a growing need to exchange knowledge and insights on the development and implementation of these innovative solutions. This conference seeks to bridge the gap by fostering collaboration between academic researchers and industry professionals, allowing for the transfer of both scientific knowledge and hands-on experience.

Attendees will gain valuable insights into the latest advancements in Smart Energy Hubs, with a focus on both national and international perspectives. With an expected attendance of 80-100 participants, including speakers and audience members, the event offers a unique platform for researchers, industry experts, municipal representatives, and consultants to share their expertise and engage in meaningful discussions about the future of smart energy solutions.
