HCD Education: Module Human Product Relations

Course content

The module Human Product Relations (HPR) focuses on the relationships between people and products through the perspective of different use contexts, interaction qualities, and possibilities for influencing user experience and behaviour. Through particular attention to explorative design research methods, students learn to understand and incorporate target users in their design activities, and to view them not only as individuals, but also as human beings in a specific social and societal context. The module integrates lectures, feedback sessions, workshops, and self-study hours to address a design brief formulated around existing (local) public spaces.
