Welcome to Sujith Raman, a new assistant professor at the Radio Systems group!

Sujith is an assistant professor at the Radio Systems group at EEMCS. Prior to joining University of Twente, he was working as Marie curie fellow-MSCA IF at EPFL in Switzerland (2021- 2023). In August 2012, Sujith received his Ph.D. in Microwave Electronics from the Center for Research in Electromagnetic and Antennas, CUSAT, India. He was then hired as a post-doctoral researcher at WiSAR Lab in Ireland and Angstrom Laboratory at Uppsala University in Sweden (2012-2015). He also worked as an industrial postdoc at General Electricals' Nondestructive Evaluation Laboratory in India. Sujith was employed as UGC-faculty (Assistant Professor) at Bharathiar University in India as part of the prestigious UGC-Faculty Recharge programme, where he was involved in both teaching and research (2016-2021). Throughout all of these positions, he gained experience in cutting-edge research topics and infrastructure related to microwaves and antennas. He is also a Senior Member of IEEE, URSI and reviewer of highly cited journals and conferences.

At the University of Twente, the major research focus of Sujith will be on the development of biodegradable Microwave devices and Microwave material interaction studies.
