biography
Gang Zhang was born in Shanxi, China, in 1995. He received the Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, HKSAR in 2018 and the Master's degree in Information Technology and Electrical Engineering from ETH Zurich, Switzerland in 2023. During 2018 to 2019, he worked as an assistant engineer on designing building electrical distribution system in WSP Asia, HKSAR, which is one of the largest global engineering consultancies.
Since May 2023, Gang is working as a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Twente with Power Electronics & EMC (PE) group. His research interests include advanced topologies, modulation technique, circuit components optimization and control strategies of AC/DC converters.
